Words of renewal
The transformation

From offshore & marine to a new growth platform

Since the change of control in November 2021, the former Viking Offshore and Marine Limited won shareholder approval to divest its legacy business, raise capital and re-emerge as 9R Limited — a group built for the technologies of Industry 4.0 and for consumer experiences that endure.

The name itself is the strategy: nine verbs of renewal that frame how the Group approaches every asset it touches.

What we do

Two engines, one disciplined operator

We pair the efficiency of automation with the warmth of family entertainment — two businesses, each addressing a clear and growing need across Southeast Asia.

01 / Supply Chain Management

Robots that solve the labour gap

Through Diverse Supply Chain (DSC) in Malaysia and Singapore, 9R is the distributor of KEENON AI service robots. These machines bring reliability and round-the-clock consistency to the F&B, hospitality, sanitation and customer-service industries — complemented by JBL audio systems and health & wellness products.

02 / Lifestyle Retail

Premium karaoke for every family

9R Leisure spearheads the Group’s lifestyle retail arm, anchored by the well-known Red Box premium karaoke brand. From its flagship at Pavilion KL to a growing national footprint, Red Box pairs plush rooms, state-of-the-art JBL audio and robot-served F&B with the REDPAY loyalty card.

Home/About 9R

Charting a new path,
jettisoning the old

9R is a versatile name born from the new management’s ambition to rebuild, reborn, restore, recreate, revamp, reform, revive, remedy and recast the Group — now focused on supply-chain robotics and lifestyle retail.

Who we are

Transforming with new technology and ideas

Since the change of ownership of Viking Offshore and Marine Limited (“VOM”) in November 2021, the company undertook a major makeover — winning shareholder approval to diversify its businesses, raise funds, dispose of its offshore and marine operations and change its name to 9R Limited.

Today the Group is principally involved in two new businesses: supply-chain management and lifestyle retail. Its founders, drawn to the technologies of Industry 4.0 — automation, robotics and AI — set out to enhance operations across F&B, sanitisation and hospitality, while building a portfolio of consumer brands with lasting appeal.
