Since the change of ownership of Viking Offshore and Marine Limited (“VOM”) in November 2021, the company undertook a major makeover — winning shareholder approval to diversify its businesses, raise funds, dispose of its offshore and marine operations and change its name to 9R Limited.
Today the Group is principally involved in two new businesses: supply-chain management and lifestyle retail. The Group acquired Compact Sensation Sdn Bhd, owner of Red Box Plus at Pavilion KL, to enter the premium family karaoke industry — offering F&B served by AI-powered robots, plush surroundings and state-of-the-art JBL audio-visual systems. A high-achiever focused on strategic planning, revenue development and change management, Mr Khoo leads the Group as its Group Chief Executive Officer. His entrepreneurial mindset and entertainment & F&B experience continue to shape the lifestyle retail business. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting (First Class Honours) from Universiti Utara Malaysia.
Terry Swee leads Red Box as Chief Executive Officer, overseeing the Group’s premium family karaoke and lifestyle retail operations. He is focused on growing the outlet network, elevating the guest experience and building the Red Box brand across Malaysia and Singapore — positioning it at the heart of the Group’s consumer-facing business.
A Chartered Accountant (Malaysian Institute of Accountants) with a Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) and over nine years’ finance experience across listed and multinational companies and M&A. He joined 9R in July 2024, overseeing financial, accounting and corporate-secretarial matters.
9R’s Board oversees the CEO and senior management in the competent and ethical operation of the Group, setting standards, policies and guidelines that uphold high standards of responsibility and ethics.

A Malaysian business executive with a degree from the University of Hertfordshire. Currently CEO of TOGL Technology Sdn Bhd, having risen from Deputy Executive Officer through Group GM and CMO, with earlier roles at Celcom Axiata and as CEO of Agel Enterprises International.
